Specifically Zip's Five Star filters:

• reduce dirt, rust, asbestos fibres, and other particulates such as oxidized iron, manganese, and sulfides
• reduce common earthy, moldy, fishy tastes and odours
• Inhibit limescale buildup

Optional sub micron filtration filters out in addition parasitic cysts such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium which are proven to leach into the water supply from time to time.
