It is safer than a kettle because there are no cords to catch on and no jug to overturn.
Child safety extends to the childproof safety lock which requires two adult fingers to unlock hot water operation.
You can also easily program the system to deliver only chilled water and stop it dispensing boiling water for a period of time if required.
HydroTap displays chilled and boiling temperature status through colour coded red and blue lights atop the tap. A sealed safety tray at the base of the under-sink unit prevents children accessing any still water spillages.
